Let’s start from the beginning who is Bruce Almighty, where is he from & what does he do?

Bruce Almighty: Well Bruce Almighty is a pretty average guy.. I host Mixtapes, I talk enough shit to warrant a pooper scooper, I am the Founder and Host of Hear It First Radio, I am a social networking Monster, I love music, I love my city and I'm trying to build a Media Empire right now!

How Did you get  into what you do ?

Bruce Almighty:  When I got out of Prison in 2005 I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do career wise, so I spent a couple years trying to figure it out. When I moved back to Palm Beach in 2008 I bought a computer started playing with Blogs and Websites and the Palm Beach Underground was created. I originally started it with the concept of helping my own Rap Career but soon realized I loved being behind the scenes more than I liked blessing the microphone.  Soon after that I met a few Key People that really gave me my chance..  Eric Biddines started sending me music, a couple more artist like Kurly, D Low B and Logic started giving me exclusives to post on my site and word started to Grow… soon after Zee Da Hood Rep contacted me about Leaking a song by his artist at the time 4 Pound… it was the Plies Diss that got over 100,000 downloads in like 24 hours. Zee gave me a lot of love and started putting www.palmbeachunderground.com all over his promo materials Posters, Flyers, Mixtape Covers etc… and yall know Zee is a beast with Flyers and promo material so Shouts out to Hood Rep. Then I got a Call from G Boi and he hired me to help Promo Van Dams Body Slam Single on line. We did pretty good with that lookin back… Soon after that I started managing Tenfoe… well to skip a lot of my crazy trials and Tribulations  The Concept of Hear It Fit Radio came about not long after I was brought onto the www.hear-it-first.net team as a partner and I figured that an online radio show dedicated to underground music was gonna be fun… so I kept playing around with it… until one day I got 140,000 live listeners in a show and every week my numbers kept growing. I dropped a couple Mixtapes Bootleggers Made Me Famous, I also Dropped one with Crunkshit.com and Bootleggers Made Me Famous Volume 2. So I guess you could say I have been working all over the place.

You have been known to speak your mind on various occasions and topics and tend to get a few ppl upset Do you feel like you’re the voice of the ppl?

Bruce Almighty: No I just think I am the voice of me. I just like to voice my opinion… some agree with my opinions and some do not.  Social networking is just fun for me. I enjoy interacting with people on there. Some take it far too serious

There was a certain beef that was on going for a while between you and the very Well known DJ Ray–Lo From Dem Damn Dawgs  what  was the overall reason for this beef ,What started it all?

Bruce Almighty: Who?  LOL no for real that really isn’t beef. That was just me voicing my opinion and next thing I know the city was talking about it. I did a show about The Gangster and Thugs DVDs and Ray Lo  didn’t really like what I had to say… The majority of the city agrees with me on that one tho.

There were numerous back and forth going on between both you and Ray-Lo online and offline  did you guys ever hatch the beef or reach a mutual understanding?

Lets talk about your online radio show  Hear It First Radio who does the show cater to and what can Listeners  expect once they tune in?

Bruce Almighty: Hear It First Radio is pretty much for anyone who loves Hip Hop, both Underground and mainstream. I Love playing that song you never heard before and having you say to yourself damn where did you get that song? A large portion of my audience is in places like the UK, Germany, Russia and Australia shit I even have a listener from Iceland that loves to tune in and send in his music on a regular basis. What time does it air and where can fans log on to listen to it?

Bruce Almighty: every Tuesday Night at 8 PM on www.palmbeachunderground.com or www.hear-it-first.net or you can listen in Via Phone 347-215-6380. The funnest part about the show is how I interact with my listeners and just basically freestyle the show every week! There is no real format to Hear It First Radio!   Just expect pure wildness!!

You also run a successful online  Hip-Hop site Palmbeachunderground.com tell us  more about the site and what it Represents also how can Artist get featured on there ?

Bruce Almighty: The Palm Beach Underground is all about the Florida Entertainment Scene. Models, DJs, Clubs, Rappers, Singers, and more can be on there. But I get people that get upset with me because I just don’t post everything they release. Shrug I cant please everyone tho but I do what I can.  

Let’s get into your very popular Mixtape series “Bootleggers Made me Famous” Which  always does numbers online and on the streets .I have always wanted to know your process behind the creation of such a great Mixtape take us through  from choosing the tracks and putting them together as well as the final production of the mixtape.

Bruce Almighty My Process is very Simple when I have enough music that I can really Vibe too I start working on a Mixtape… my process has evolved though. I started dealing with a lot more artists outside of Palm Beach and have gotten a lot of love on all of my Mixtape Projects. Choosing the Tracks has always been the hardest part because people always feel left out … I guess I'm gonna have to start dropping more Mixtapes more often! Bootleggers Made Me Famous vol 3 will be dropping in a couple weeks tho! Also my First Hear It First Radio Mixtape Strictly For the Ladies Right Behind that! That one is going to be an R classic! Oh yes Hear It First Radio Mixtapes is going to be the Future!!

How Can Artist Submit Their Music to be considered on the next Bootleggers Made Me Famous Mixtape and what can fans expect from the next Mixtape?

Bruce Almighty:  email me brucealmightyhif@gmail.com please don’t send me download links… I usually don’t trust a lot of em. Send an attached mp3 file.  The Name of the Song and put in the subject what you want me to consider the song for… mixtape, radio, etc… then I will get back to you .. if I don’t respond right away there is a chance you got lost in the shuffle just tweet me or face book me and let me know it is there.   Make sure the song is properly mixed down!! I repeat make sure your song is properly mixed!

You were Awarded Radio DJ of the year at the Palm Beach Music Awards this past summer.what did that mean to you and what was the first thing that came to mind when you find out you won?

Bruce Almighty:Honestly the first Thing that popped into my head was Oh Shit.. I didnt plan on winning I assumed one of the 102.3 Radio DJs was going to win so I wasnt really prepared. To be honest It felt good to win an award but in the bigger scheme of things It only made me get more focused on what I have been trying to accomplish. I watched alot of people win awards and then fade away into obscurity... I can name a list of people that have won awards.. but are now on the Where are they now posters... I wanna be around for the long haul so I gotta keep challenging myself and be consistant.  But as far as the award ceremony I dont think that Rohan gets enough credit for what he does as an advocate for the Palm Beach Music Scene. So Shouts out to Rohan, His Brother and the whole Genesis marketing Team!

On Thursday Nights you help host Hustle N Flow Open Mic nights along Side HookMan Jones (Shout Out to HookMan Jones By The Way Lol) How did that come about and how is it going so far?

Bruce Almighty: Lowron and Hookman Jones hit me up and asked me if I was interested in my fist event hosting with Hustle and Flow I think its like season 3 or 4. It’s a lot of fun! I am amazed at how much unheard talent we have right here in our city!  Me and Hookman work great together a lot of yall have seen we already dropped our first Mixtape Project together and it was all about Hustle & Flow again!! Shouts out to all the artists that took part of that! Its also available right now on all of your favorite websites like Krank It Up Mag, Palm Beach Underground and Hear It First!
