What’s Good How’s everything on your end?

The VX: Pretty Good

Let’s start from the beginning who is The VX and  what do they represent  & Where do they come from ?
Yiego: The Vx is the Dynamic Duo that consist of me Yiego “The Clean Cut Kidd’ and my boy Duece “The Greeneyedmunsta’ Duece: We come from Earth I know everybody wanna be like Wayne and come from another Planet but I’m pretty sure were from Earth. Houston to be more specific. Lol

How did you end up with the stage name “The VX” What does it stand for?

Yiego: We actually use to call ourselves “Versatile” then having a conversation with this guy he said “you know in math there are a lot of problems but people are always looking for the X which is the answer you guys are the answer”. So we took that and keep the V and added the X. Then we added “The” because we like how that sounds. lol

How did you guys link up to form The VX and who’s idea was it to join forces?

Duece: Well we use to have other members and they keep quitting on us. Then we would try to force another member in to fit what we thought a group should look like; but at the end, it would always end up being Duece and Yiego. So we prayed about it and God was like this is what I wanted anyway, so we ran with it.

How would you describe the sound that you bring to the table?

Yiego: Raw-nB Music; It’s like Diary/Journal or Movie music we singing out loud what people keep to themselves. We also tell stories so that we can take you somewhere when you’re listening.
Duece: Actually I think we should put a warning in our CD saying. “Do not drive while listening” cause we plan to make you daydream.

Who would you say was very inspirational to you growing up music wise?

The Vx:  Jodeci, Boys to Men, Michael Jackson, Janelle Monae, Frankie Lymond, James Brown and the list goes on and on.

If you had to explain your style of music in 3 words what would they be and why?

Duece:  RAW.N. B: All I can say is that this music will take you somewhere. I don’t know where but you’re going to go somewhere. Like I said its daydream music.

What do you think your fans like the most your music?

Yiego: The sound, the creativity and actually the humor..lol

What can fans expect from you next as far as Albums or Mixtapes?

Yiego: We have our debut album dropping this year “Puppets” so be looking out for that.
